10,000 km of Road Projects Sanctioned under PMGSY-IV
In a significant stride for rural infrastructure, the Union Cabinet approved the sanction of over 10,000 km of road projects across Jammu & Kashmir, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, and Sikkim under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana-IV. This initiative aims to enhance connectivity to 3,270 previously isolated habitations, promoting access to essential services and fostering inclusive growth. With a budget of Rs. 70,125 crore, the project will deliver 62,500 km of all-weather roads, fundamentally transforming rural communities and supporting the vision of 'Viksit Bharat'.
