On Independence Day 2025, a total of 1090 personnel from Police, Fire, Home Guard & Civil Defence, and Correctional Services were awarded Gallantry and Service Medals. This includes 233 Gallantry Medals, 99 President’s Medals for Distinguished Service, and 758 Medals for Meritorious Service, recognizing their exceptional contributions and bravery in service.
