The Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers has identified 11,100 Jan Aushadhi Kendras as Outdoor Cleaning Sites under the Special Campaign for Disposal of Pending Matters (SCDPM) 5.0. This initiative, led by the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Bureau of India (PMBI), aims to promote cleanliness and citizen-centric governance. The campaign includes the clearance of pending matters, e-waste disposal, and the conversion of idle office spaces into productive facilities. The Department of Pharmaceuticals is also focusing on optimizing workspace utilization and generating revenue through e-waste disposal.
