11,100 Jan Aushadhi Kendras Designated for Outdoor Cleaning in India

The Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers has identified 11,100 Jan Aushadhi Kendras as Outdoor Cleaning Sites under the Special Campaign for Disposal of Pending Matters (SCDPM) 5.0. This initiative, led by the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Bureau of India (PMBI), aims to promote cleanliness and citizen-centric governance. The campaign includes the disposal of pending matters, e-waste management, and the conversion of idle office spaces into productive facilities. The Department has also compiled best practices to enhance Ease of Doing Business and promote environmentally sustainable initiatives.
