111 Eklavya Model Residential Schools Approved for Odisha

The Ministry of Tribal Affairs, led by Union Tribal Affairs Minister of State Shri Drugadas Uikey, announced the approval of 111 Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRSs) for tribal blocks in Odisha. These schools are part of a scheme to provide educational facilities in areas with more than 50% Scheduled Tribe (ST) population and at least 20,000 tribal residents, based on the 2011 census.
