17th India-Israel Joint Working Group Meeting on Defence Cooperation
The 17th meeting of the Joint Working Group (JWG) on defence cooperation between India and Israel was held in Tel Aviv on November 4, 2025. Co-chaired by Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh and Israeli Defence Ministry's Maj Gen (Res) Amir Baram, the meeting resulted in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing defence collaboration. The MoU outlines cooperation in strategic dialogues, training, defence industrial cooperation, and advanced technology sharing, including AI and cybersecurity. Both nations reaffirmed their commitment to combat shared challenges such as terrorism, highlighting a long-standing partnership based on mutual trust and security interests.
