214th SPARSH Outreach Programme Held in Kerala

The Controller of Defence Accounts (CGDA) organized the 214th SPARSH Outreach Programme in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, on October 16, 2025. Inaugurated by Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, the event saw over 1100 defence veterans and family pensioners in attendance. The Governor distributed cheques worth Rs 40 lakh to five pensioners and honored six Veer Naris. He praised the establishment of SPARSH Service Centres in 12 districts and urged for more to ensure full coverage. The CGDA also reported significant disbursement of pension arrears.
