29th Review Meeting on Implementation of PCR and PoA Acts

The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment organized the 29th Review Meeting to assess the implementation of the Protection of Civil Rights Act, 1955 and the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 across States and Union Territories. The meeting was co-chaired by Dr. Virendra Kumar and Shri Jual Oram, with a focus on curbing offences against Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, emphasizing the establishment of Special Courts and Police Stations, and the creation of awareness initiatives.
