2nd Global Buddhist Summit Focuses on Contemporary Global Challenges

The 2nd Global Buddhist Summit will convene on 24th and 25th January 2026 in New Delhi, hosted by the International Buddhist Confederation (IBC) and the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The event, themed “Collective Wisdom, United Voice, and Mutual Coexistence,” aims to address pressing global issues through the principles of Buddhist philosophy. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is expected to inaugurate the event, which will feature discussions on ethical leadership and sustainable living amidst technological and environmental changes. It will also showcase NORBU, a language model inspired by Buddhist teachings.
