The Government of India has approved a ₹417 crore Electronics Manufacturing Cluster (EMC 2.0) in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, aimed at boosting local manufacturing and innovation. The project, developed by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, will cover 200 acres and is expected to attract ₹2,500 crore in investment, creating 15,000 jobs. The cluster will support various manufacturing sectors and provide essential infrastructure for startups and MSMEs, reinforcing India's commitment to becoming a global manufacturing hub.
