4th National EMRS Sports Meet 2025 Inaugurated in Odisha

The 4th National EMRS Sports Meet 2025, organized by the National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, commenced on November 11, 2025, in Odisha. The event, which runs until November 15, brings together over 5,500 student athletes from Eklavya Model Residential Schools across 21 States and 1 Union Territory. The inauguration was led by Shri Jual Oram, Minister of Tribal Affairs, who emphasized the importance of quality education for tribal communities. The meet aims to promote sporting excellence and overall development among tribal students, culminating in a closing ceremony that includes prize distribution on November 15, 2025.
