5th National Pharmacovigilance Week Inaugurated in India

The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission inaugurated the 5th National Pharmacovigilance Week in New Delhi, focusing on patient safety and adverse drug reaction (ADR) reporting. The week-long campaign aims to encourage healthcare professionals and the public to report ADRs through digital platforms. Dr. Rajeev Singh Raghuvanshi, DCGI, emphasized the importance of patient participation in pharmacovigilance and announced new initiatives, including a short film and a comic to raise awareness. Awards were presented to recognize contributions in the field of pharmacovigilance.
