The 6th High-Level Meeting between the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) and the Vietnam Coast Guard (VCG) took place in Hanoi on August 20, 2025. The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation in areas such as Maritime Search and Rescue, Law Enforcement, Pollution Response, and Capacity Building, with an emphasis on combating transnational maritime crimes. Co-chaired by ICG's Anand Prakash Badola and VCG's Major General Vu Trung Kien, the discussions highlighted the importance of joint initiatives, training programs, and best practices to ensure regional maritime security and environmental sustainability.
