The 71st National Film Awards for 2023 were announced, with '12th Fail' winning Best Feature Film. 'Flowering Man' took home Best Non-Feature Film, while 'God Vulture and Human' was awarded Best Documentary. Shah Rukh Khan and Vikrant Massey shared the Best Actor award, and Rani Mukerji won Best Actress. Other notable winners included Vijayaraghavan and Muthupettai Somu Bhaskar for Best Supporting Actor, and Urvashi and Janki Bodiwala for Best Supporting Actress.
