89th Meeting of National Board for Wildlife Held in Bhopal
The Standing Committee of the National Board for Wildlife met in Bhopal to discuss wildlife conservation policies and assess development proposals around protected areas and reserves. Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Shri Bhupender Yadav, chaired the meeting, which reviewed 58 proposals spanning various sectors and emphasized the ecological importance of initiatives like maintaining e-flows in the Chambal River.
