The 8th High-Level Meeting (HLM) between the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) and Sri Lanka Coast Guard (SLCG) took place in New Delhi on August 11, 2025. The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation in marine pollution response, maritime search and rescue, and law enforcement. Both delegations, led by ICG Director General Paramesh Sivamani and SLCG Rear Admiral Y.R. Serasinghe, committed to addressing maritime challenges and promoting regional stability.
