₹94 Crore Grants Released for Uttarakhand PRIs

The Union Government has allocated over ₹94 crores in XV Finance Commission grants for Panchayati Raj Institutions in Uttarakhand for FY 2025-26. The funds, comprising untied grants for district, block, and gram panchayats, are to be used for specific local needs under various constitutional subjects, excluding salaries and establishment costs. Additional tied grants will support essential services such as sanitation and drinking water.
