AAIB Provides Update on Learjet 45 Accident Investigation
The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) is conducting a meticulous inquiry into the accident involving the Learjet 45 aircraft VT-SSK at Baramati. The investigation follows stringent protocols in accordance with the Aircraft (Investigation of Accidents and Incidents) Rules, 2017, and international ICAO standards. Both flight recorders on the aircraft, exposed to intense heat, received significant fire damage. Despite this, data from the Digital Flight Data Recorder has been successfully retrieved, and the Cockpit Voice Recorder is undergoing technical examination with international assistance.
