The PM-JANMAN initiative, launched on November 15, 2023, aims to enhance the socio-economic conditions of 75 Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) across 18 states and one Union Territory. With a budget of ₹24,104 Cr, the program focuses on providing essential services such as housing, clean water, education, health, and livelihood opportunities through various interventions by multiple ministries. As of June 30, 2025, significant progress has been made in housing, water supply, health services, and education facilities.
