The Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying is promoting innovative technologies under the Rashtriya Gokul Mission, including sex sorted semen technology and bovine IVF technology. These initiatives aim to enhance productivity, health, and income for farmers, with significant incentives provided. The government has also launched genomic selection tools and established collaborations with international organizations for research and development in the sector. A Centre of Excellence for Animal Husbandry has been set up to foster skill development and technology exchange.
