Affordable Housing Partnership Projects Under PMAY-U 2.0

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) has revamped the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Urban (PMAY-U) and launched PMAY-U 2.0, aiming to provide affordable housing to 1 crore additional beneficiaries over the next five years. The initiative includes four verticals: Beneficiary Led Construction, Affordable Housing in Partnership, Affordable Rental Housing, and Interest Subsidy Scheme. The Affordable Housing in Partnership (AHP) vertical is implemented through public and private sector models, with a focus on innovative construction technologies. A total of 21,017 houses have been sanctioned in Maharashtra, with provisions for Technology Innovation Grants to support these projects.
