Agriculture Minister Addresses Admission Concerns for Students

Union Agriculture Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced that 20% of undergraduate seats in agricultural universities will now be filled through an all-India competitive examination by ICAR. This change aims to standardize eligibility criteria across the country, allowing students with specific subject combinations to apply. The reforms, effective from the 2025-26 academic year, are expected to benefit nearly 3,000 students and simplify the admission process in B.Sc. Agriculture programs.
