AHIDF Scheme Progress in Bihar

As of July 22, 2025, the Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund (AHIDF) has received 572 project proposals in Bihar, amounting to a total cost of Rs. 2401.16 crore, with Rs. 259.77 crore in term loans. Only 6 projects have been approved by the Project Approval Committee, with a total project cost of Rs. 232.16 crore. The approved projects are distributed across four districts: Gopalganj, Kishanganj, Muzaffarpur, and Purnia. The approval process is ongoing, with monthly PAC meetings to expedite approvals.
