On June 1, 2025, Air Marshal Jasvir Singh Mann assumed the role of Senior Air Staff Officer of the Western Air Command in the Indian Air Force. A distinguished fighter pilot with over 3000 flight hours, he has held various key positions, including commanding a fighter squadron and serving as Director General (Weapon Systems) at Air Headquarters. He is a recipient of the Ati Vishist Seva Medal and Vayu Sena Medal, and has participated in joint military exercises with international forces.
