Air Marshal Yalla Umesh Visits Tughlakabad Base Repair Depot

Air Marshal Yalla Umesh, the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Maintenance Command, paid a visit to the Base Repair Depot in Tughlakabad on December 4, 2025. Accompanied by Mrs. Sreevalli, they were welcomed by Air Commodore DN Sahu and Mrs. Preeti Sahu. During the visit, the Air Marshal was briefed on the depot’s operations, focusing on its achievements in indigenisation and innovative projects. He emphasized reducing import dependency and progressing towards Atmanirbharta by enhancing domestic capabilities. The Air Marshal praised the personnel's dedication and professionalism while urging them to maintain operational readiness and prepare against emerging security challenges.
