Akashvani Stations to Broadcast Full Version of "Vande Mataram" from March 26

Starting March 26, 2026, Akashvani stations will broadcast the full 6-stanza version of the National Song "Vande Mataram," in line with the Ministry of Home Affairs' recent guidelines. This version, sung by Pt. Chandrashekhar Vaze, will replace the traditional 2-stanza version currently played. Regional versions showcasing local musical diversity are also being prepared.
