All-India Consumer Price Index for Agricultural and Rural Labourers – May 2025

In May 2025, the All-India Consumer Price Index for Agricultural Labourers (CPI-AL) decreased by 2 points to 1305, while the index for Rural Labourers (CPI-RL) decreased by 1 point to 1319. Year-on-year inflation rates for CPI-AL and CPI-RL were recorded at 2.84% and 2.97%, respectively, a significant drop from 7.00% and 7.02% in May 2024. The general index for both categories also showed a decline compared to the previous month.
