Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund Initiatives

The Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying is implementing the Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund (AHIDF) to enhance price realization for producers. The fund supports various stakeholders, including entrepreneurs and cooperatives, with a 3% interest subvention and credit guarantees. Since its inception, 402 projects have been approved, aiming to improve processing capacity and market access for rural producers, potentially benefiting 25 lakh farmers and generating significant employment.
