APEDA clarified that the NPOP involves third-party certification recognized by the European Commission and Switzerland, and is not limited to Madhya Pradesh. The authority emphasized the credibility and transparency of the certification process, while addressing concerns about malpractices and outlining measures taken to strengthen the system.
