Assessing the Impact of Crop Damage on Agricultural Growth in 2025
The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has reported a significant impact of hydro-meteorological disasters on crop production during the 2025 monsoon season. Despite challenges, the estimated kharif foodgrain production for 2025-26 has reached a record 1733.30 LMT, marking a 2.28% increase from the previous year.
