The Ministry of Education's Department of School Education and Literacy organized an orientation and training program for District Nodal Officers (DNOs) and Institute Nodal Officers (INOs) in Chhattisgarh on September 20, 2025. The session focused on the National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS), which supports economically weaker students in completing their secondary education. Participants were trained on application verification processes and the National Scholarship Portal, emphasizing the importance of timely application processing. A total of 67 officials attended, with three DNOs recognized for their outstanding performance.
