The Ministry of Textiles is implementing the Samarth scheme aimed at providing demand-driven, placement-oriented skilling programs in the textile sector. As of July 24, 2025, 457,724 beneficiaries have been trained, with 355,662 placed, including 88% women. The scheme utilizes a robust software platform for monitoring and real-time attendance through Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS).
