The Bharat International Rice Conference (BIRC) 2025, scheduled for October 30-31 in New Delhi, aims to position India as a leader in the global rice supply chain. The event will unlock ₹1.80 lakh crore in new rice markets and is expected to generate ₹25,000 crore in export MoUs. It will gather over 3,000 farmers, 1,000 foreign buyers, and 2,500 exporters to discuss sustainability, innovation, and trade opportunities in the rice sector. The conference will also feature various pavilions showcasing Indian rice varieties and technological innovations in agriculture.
