Bihar Achieves Milestone with New Polling Stations

Bihar has become the first state in India to have all polling stations with less than 1,200 electors, adding 12,817 new polling stations to enhance voter accessibility. The Election Commission has shared lists of electors who have not returned forms or are untraceable with major political parties, urging them to engage with these voters. Public objections for the draft electoral rolls will be invited starting August 1, 2025, allowing a month for corrections.
