Bihar Election Commission Bulletin: Claims and Objections Summary

The Election Commission of Bihar released a bulletin detailing claims and objections received from political parties and electors regarding the draft electoral roll from August 1 to August 6, 2025. A total of 160,813 claims were received from various political parties, with the Bharatiya Janata Party leading with 53,338 claims. Additionally, 3,659 claims were received directly from electors, and 19,186 forms were submitted by new electors aged 18 and above. The disposal of these claims is mandated to occur after 7 days, following specific rules and procedures.
