Bihar Election Commission Bulletin: Claims & Objections Update

The Bihar Election Commission has announced that there are 6 days left for filing claims and objections regarding the draft electoral roll published on August 1, 2025. A total of 1,60,813 claims and objections have been received from political parties, with significant submissions from major parties like the BJP and RJD. Additionally, 1,62,453 claims and objections have been filed directly by electors, with 4,33,214 forms received from new electors. The commission emphasizes the importance of a transparent electoral process and encourages eligible voters to check their names in the draft roll and file claims or objections as necessary before the September 1 deadline.
