The Election Commission of Bihar released a daily bulletin detailing claims and objections regarding the draft electoral roll from August 1 to August 9, 2025. A total of 160,813 claims and objections were received from various national and state parties, with no disposals reported after 7 days. Additionally, 7,252 claims were received directly from electors, and 43,123 forms were submitted by new electors aged 18 and above. The bulletin emphasizes that no names can be deleted from the draft list without proper inquiry and a speaking order from the Election Registration Officer (ERO) or Assistant Election Registration Officer (AERO).
