Bihar Election Commission Update: 95.92% Electors Covered

The Election Commission of Bihar reports that 95.92% of eligible electors have been covered in the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the Electoral Rolls, with 6 days remaining for the completion of the enumeration process. Approximately 32 lakh electors are yet to be added, and efforts are being made to reach out to them through house-to-house visits and special camps in urban areas. The draft Electoral Roll is set to be published on August 1, 2025, with a rectification period until August 30, 2025.
