Bihar SIR Enumeration Phase Findings

The Election Commission of Bihar reported key findings from the Enumeration Phase of the Special Initiative for Registration (SIR) conducted from June 24 to July 25, 2025. Over 7.24 crore out of 7.89 crore electors submitted their forms, indicating high participation. The initiative aims to ensure no eligible elector is left behind, including urban, young, and temporary migrants. Various campaigns and assistance efforts were made to facilitate the registration process. The draft electoral roll will be published on August 1, 2025, allowing for claims and objections until September 1, 2025.
