Bihar's Special Intensive Revision (SIR) Progress Report

The Election Commission reports that the first visit of Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to nearly 1.5 crore households in Bihar has been completed, with over 87% of Enumeration Forms distributed. The SIR exercise aims to ensure all eligible voters are included in the electoral rolls, with a deadline for form submission set for July 25, 2025. Verification of forms will begin after the Draft Electoral Rolls are published on August 1, 2025, with final rolls to be published by September 30, 2025.
