The Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES) hosted a national-level Brainstorming Workshop on Blue Economy Investments in New Delhi on July 25, 2025. Chaired by Dr. M. Ravichandran, the workshop brought together stakeholders from various sectors to discuss trade, investments, startups, and ease of doing business in the blue economy. Participants identified challenges and co-created solutions, leading to recommendations for aligning the blue economy with India's business reform agenda. A white paper titled 'Ocean of Opportunities' was released, emphasizing the need for innovative financing and investor-ready projects to enhance the blue economy's growth potential.
