Researchers at the Centre for Nano and Soft Matter Sciences in Bengaluru have developed a novel nano soft gold–liquid crystal hybrid material, exhibiting high thermal stability and enhanced optical features. By utilizing molecular engineering, the team has synthesized an Au-LC composite with remarkable thermal properties, ranging from 27 °C to 145 °C, and unique optical effects like Fano-like resonance.
