BRO's Project Chetak Celebrates 47th Raising Day

Project Chetak, a key initiative of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO), marked its 47th Raising Day on April 4, 2026. Established in 1980, the project has significantly contributed to infrastructure development in strategically important areas of Rajasthan, Punjab, and northern Gujarat. It plays a vital role in national security and regional development by maintaining a comprehensive road network and upgrading feeder roads near the International Border. The project operates under the motto ‘Chetak ka Prayas, Desh ka Vikas’, covering over 4,000 kms of roads and 214 kms of Ditch Cum Bund.
