BSNL Advances 4G Site Deployment Across India

The Ministry of Communications has accelerated the deployment of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL)'s 4G sites nationwide, with a focus on indigenously developed infrastructure. As of January 2026, nearly 97,672 4G sites have been installed, of which 95,511 are fully operational. This plan aligns with India's Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative and the equipment is technologically prepared for future 5G upgrades.
