BSNL Advances National Connectivity with 4G and 5G Preparations

The Ministry of Communications, led by Union Minister Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia, announces substantial progress towards achieving 100% 4G saturation in India. This initiative aims to enhance digital connectivity and drive inclusive development, aligning with the government's vision of digital inclusion and self-reliance. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has installed nearly one lakh indigenous 4G sites, with most being 5G-ready. Additionally, Shimla Lok Sabha Constituency in Himachal Pradesh sees significant improvements, with extensive 4G site deployment and optical fibre connectivity. Government initiatives also bolster BSNL's operational and financial framework, supported by capital infusion and spectrum allocation.
