This initiative, developed by C-DOT and Tejas Networks, marks a shift towards self-reliance in telecommunications, reducing dependency on foreign technology. The indigenous 4G stack is expected to enhance connectivity in rural and remote areas, support various sectors including agriculture and healthcare, and lay the groundwork for future 5G and 6G advancements, aligning with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
