C-DOT and IIT Roorkee Collaborate for Telecom Innovation
The Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR) to establish a Centre of Excellence (CoE) focused on advanced communication technologies. This collaboration aims to foster indigenous research and innovation, promote academia-industry synergy, and strengthen India's leadership in global telecom innovation. The CoE will concentrate on areas like wireless communication, quantum technologies, cybersecurity, and AI applications, driving progress in domains including 5G/6G, RF-Sub-THz integrated circuits, and energy efficiency. The partnership marks a strategic step towards creating self-reliant technology solutions in a Viksit Bharat.
