Cabinet Approves 4-Lane Paramakudi-Ramanathapuram Highway Project
The Union Cabinet has approved the construction of a 4-lane highway section between Paramakudi and Ramanathapuram in Tamil Nadu, spanning 46.7 km at a cost of Rs. 1,853 crore. This project aims to alleviate congestion on the existing 2-lane NH-87, improve safety, and enhance connectivity to major towns and transport nodes, thereby boosting regional economic growth and employment opportunities.
