Cabinet Approves Construction of NH-927 in Uttar Pradesh
The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has greenlit the construction of a 4-lane access-controlled national highway from Barabanki to Bahraich in Uttar Pradesh under the Hybrid Annuity Mode. This project, which costs approximately Rs.6969.04 crore, aims to resolve significant geometric issues and enhance connectivity across the region, linking major economic, social, and logistics hubs while also boosting cross-border trade with Nepal.
