The Union Cabinet, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved the Credit Guarantee Scheme for Exporters (CGSE), which provides 100% credit guarantee coverage for up to Rs. 20,000 crore to eligible exporters, including MSMEs. This initiative aims to enhance liquidity, support market diversification, and improve the global competitiveness of Indian exporters, contributing to India's goal of achieving a USD 1 trillion export target.
